This garden has one garden plot to be shared with anyone from the nearby neighborhood who would like to become involved. It has been in operation at least four years. There isn't any cost to joining this garden. Water is available. There are tools in a locked shed, and they are available by arrangement. The soil is good. It has not been tested recently. Mike believes it was tested for lead initially. This garden needs involvement from neighbors or help in getting neighbors interested. Connection with Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church and with Calvin College. The land tenure is secure. The garden has been done without pesticides recently; Mike does not know how it was done previously.
