This garden was started in 2003 by a Michigan State University Extension gardening class at the GRCC Learning Center.

The land is owned by Dwellin Place, Inc. They have said that they would be using the space soon for other development, but as of 2006, the garden space is still available. A gardening class continues to get it started.

A neighbor, Shirley, works with some area children to maintain it. Six people used it in 2005.

The location of the garden is on the east side of Fuller Ave. SE just south of Wealthy St. SE.
