Site information  

The garden has a total area of 80x100 feet. Plots are available first to neighbors, then to others if space is available. There is no fee at this garden. Water and some tools are available.

The garden is part of a Health Department substance abuse prevention program that aims to build healthy communities by providing protective factors which positively influence youth and help youth become community leaders. There is a garden “leadership group” that includes Master Gardeners and others. The garden motto is “children first”.
